clarissa.one grew out of a simple observation: most unhappy hotel guests say nothing on site – they stay quiet, check out, and leave their criticism days later as an online review. Roland saw this happen again and again over 15 years working alongside hotels and event organisers. He knew the workflows, the bottlenecks, and the moment when a problem could still have been fixed – if only someone had known about it in time.
Together with Michael, who has been building software since the year 2000, that observation turned into an idea: a tool that gives guests a simple, low-barrier voice while they're still on site – a QR code in the room, feedback via a colour wheel, an instant alert to the team. No questionnaire, no hurdle, just a brief moment that's enough to prevent a bad review before it happens.
That's how clarissa.one combines Roland's industry know-how with Michael's engineering – with one goal: to make hotel life noticeably easier and turn silent frustration into honest feedback, in time to act on it.
Communication Designer
Roland has been a communication designer since 2005 – with a soft spot for the web and an eye for what's coming next. For 15 years he worked closely with hotels and event organisers, seeing first-hand where guest management, bookings and communication get stuck in daily operations. That's what drives him: simplifying complex processes and building tools that make hotel life noticeably easier.
Developer
Michael lives in Bavaria and has been writing software since the year 2000 – what began as curiosity turned into a passion. He loves building practical solutions to real problems, always close to new technology. He finds his balance in the Alps: hiking brings him quiet, fresh mountain air – and often the best idea for the next project.
