What is clarissa.one?

clarissa.one is a mood-based guest feedback system for hotels. Guests scan a QR code in the room, the spa or at the breakfast table and pick their mood from a color wheel in 15 seconds. Your team sees the result on a traffic-light dashboard – and gets an instant alert when the mood goes red.

How can I try clarissa.one?

Create a free account – no credit card required. It starts in demo mode, where you can explore the entire app: dashboard, feedback view, settings, traffic-light logic. No time limit. As soon as you are ready to go live with your guests, switch to the matching plan.

What is the difference between Starter and Live Response?

Starter collects feedback after departure – classic review management. Live Response makes the real difference: feedback while the guest is still on site, with an instant alert to your team. You can solve a problem before the guest drives out of the hotel driveway – and before the Google review is written.

How long does setup take?

For the Starter plan: about 10 minutes. Enter the hotel name, select areas (rooms, breakfast, spa …), download and print the QR code. No technician, no software installation, no training. For Live Response with room-level QR codes, add 2–3 minutes per room block – rooms can also be created in batches (e.g. 1–50 in a single step).

Does my team need training?

No. When the mood goes red, the front desk gets an email with the info: room number, time, area, guest comment. Nothing more is needed – your team knows what to do. The dashboard is built so even temporary staff can read it without explanation (red = act, yellow = watch, green = all good).

What happens with my guests' data?

Feedback is anonymous by default. No IP addresses, no names, no email addresses are stored – unless the guest leaves them voluntarily. Hosted exclusively in Germany, the platform is GDPR-compliant. On request you receive a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

Will my international guests use the tool too?

Yes. The color wheel is language-independent – a mood works the same way for every guest. The accompanying texts (questions, area names, thanks) are available in 40+ languages: all major European languages plus Chinese, Arabic, Japanese, Turkish, Russian, Korean, Hebrew and more. The tool detects the guest's language automatically. Free-text comments are translated so your team can read them.

Does it work without Wi-Fi in the room?

The guest uses their own mobile data or your guest Wi-Fi – either is enough. The feedback form is extremely lightweight (no app, no large images), so it also works in poor reception areas.

Can it be integrated into my PMS or booking system?

Currently clarissa.one runs standalone – without PMS integration. We're building an integration layer (API, webhooks, PMS connectors) together with our pilot customers. If you have specific requirements here, let us know – we'll add it to the roadmap.

Is there a minimum contract term?

No. All plans can be cancelled monthly – no minimum term, no fine print. With annual billing we offer a 20% discount. Before subscribing, you can test clarissa.one for as long as you like in demo mode – no credit card, no time pressure.

What happens with negative feedback?

When the mood goes red, an alert is sent to the email addresses you configured – depending on the area, to front desk, housekeeping, F&B or spa management. On the dashboard you see the room number, time and (if provided) the guest's free-text comment. Your team can then react directly – in person at the room, at the front desk or by phone.

How do I reach support?
